losing her late sisters as she opens up about becoming cancer-free.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing on <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/good-morning-britain\/\">Good Morning Britain<\/a> on Monday morning, Anne shared the exciting news that she is officially cancer-free after being diagnosed with <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/breast-cancer\/\">breast cancer<\/a> for the <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2020\/08\/11\/anne-nolan-recalls-heartbreak-telling-daughters-cancer-went-home-told-daughters-quite-cold-heartedly-13115483\/\">second time in 2020<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The former singer from The Nolans told <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/ed-balls\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Ed Balls<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/charlotte-hawkins\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Charlotte Hawkins<\/a> that after hearing the good news, she immediately thought of her sisters who had died.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/01\/20\/linda-nolans-heartbreaking-final-hours-revealed-the-dreaded-call-22392919\/\">Linda Nolan died in January at the age of 65<\/a>, and Bernie Nolan died in 2013 at the age of 52, both from breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p>‘It’s been very traumatic. When I received the letter a few weeks ago, I picked it up, and it said NHS, and I thought, “Oh I don’t want to know, I’m not sure if I want to know if it’s bad news”.<\/p>\n<p>‘And I put it aside for about ten minutes, and after a while, my logical brain kicked in and said, ‘You have to find out, you need to know.<\/p>\n<p>‘I opened it and it was all good news, and I had a bit of a weep at the beginning. But I did think about Linda at the time and Bernie as well. We had our chemo together.<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2020\/08\/20\/coleen-nolans-sisters-linda-anne-are-scared-death-cancer-diagnosis-13154985\/\"> She was the one who called us the chemo sisters.<\/a> She was always in a good mood, always happy and kept me going because I had, I had a bad time during my chemo, and it was great to have her support.<\/p>\n<p>‘And then when her cancer spread, she didn’t survive.’<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media metro-instagram\" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-version=\"12\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DMkEsLqiAKB\/\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DMkEsLqiAKB\/\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DMkEsLqiAKB\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>This interview comes after the star announced the news publicly just a few days ago.<\/p>\n<p>On social media, she shared a long message with fans: ‘Now, five years later, I\u2019m overjoyed to share that my latest results show I am cancer free.’<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/3am\/celebrity-news\/nolans-sister-annes-health-update-35620318\">The Mirror,<\/a> she shared that she immediately thought of her sisters who had died from cancer.<\/p>\n<p>‘Although I was absolutely thrilled, I did think about them,’ she said. ‘I didn’t feel guilty because it’s nothing to do with me but I did feel sad that they weren\u2019t as lucky as I was. It\u2019s an emotional thing for me to think about them not surviving and then I did survive. But that’s just the luck of the draw.’<\/p>\n<p>She added that she now is ready to seize life and ‘grab everything with both hands.’<\/p>\n<p>‘When you’ve had a life-threatening disease and you\u2019ve lost two sisters then it brings it all to the forefront,’ she said.<\/p>\n<p>‘It makes you value life. You grab everything with both hands. Whenever I’m asked to do something, I say yes straight away.
