as she recalled her ‘torturous’ experience on the Channel 4 series.<\/p>\n<p>Maisie, 24, appeared on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2022 – and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2022\/10\/17\/maisie-smith-reveals-raucous-celebrations-after-celebrity-sas-who-dares-wins-17578564\/\">emerged as one of its four winners<\/a>, alongside footballer’s son Calum Best, TOWIE star <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/ferne-mccann\/\">Ferne McCann<\/a>, and Strictly pro AJ Pritchard.<\/p>\n<p>However, her time on the programme was a gruelling experience, as she recalled during an appearance on <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/channel-4\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Channel 4<\/a>’s Sunday Brunch this weekend. <\/p>\n<p>The former EastEnders star was in the studio to promote the stage production of The Talented Mr. Ripley, in which she appears opposite The Crown actor Ed McVey.<\/p>\n<p>As she sat down for a chat with hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, talk turned to<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2022\/08\/30\/sas-who-dares-wins-maisie-smith-recalls-fight-with-ferne-mccann-17265593\/\"> her time on Celebrity SAS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And, watching footage of herself When I watched it back, there’s so much more that they didn’t even show.<\/p>\n<p>‘When we had mic packs, when they’d change the packs, you weren’t allowed to talk. It was severe. There was never “cut, cast can chill for a bit.” It was intense. I was 19,’ she sobbed, as Tim and Simon looked on awkwardly. ‘It was such a big challenge.
