before the second season has even come out.<\/p>\n<p>The hit live-action adaptation of <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/08\/30\/bbc-viewers-will-finally-able-watch-1-000-episodes-one-best-series-ever-21522680\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/08\/30\/bbc-viewers-will-finally-able-watch-1-000-episodes-one-best-series-ever-21522680\/\">the popular anime<\/a> had a hugely successful first season, totting up 72 million views (and becoming the third most-watched TV show of 2023 overall).<\/p>\n<p>Now the trailer for the second season, starring Inaki Godoy and Emily Rudd, has finally dropped, confirming it will return in 2026, three years after it initially came out. <\/p>\n<p>The series, which has garnered an exceptionally loyal and sprawling fanbase over the years, follows young pirate Monkey D.
